"These are cute."

"Yep."

"Would you like one?"

"No, thanks. I have way too many as it is."

"I'll get one for you if you would like. I should also get one for Mom and one for P for Mother's Day."

"Maybe I should get one for YOU for Mother's Day."

"You don't have to do that."

"No, but I want to."

"Are you sure that you don't want one?"

"Thanks, but I'm fine. Which one do you want?"

"Oh, I don't know..."

"Okay. One of each."

"Oh, no. Don't do that."

And the cycle continues. Don't tell me that you don't have the same conversation with your mother every time that you go shopping anywhere.
